By confirming the date of the shoot you automatically accept the terms and conditions, including the terms and conditions listed in the price list, you accept my style of shooting and editing, including the techniques used.
I accept bookings by phone, email or social media message, written confirmation of the date is a must.
The date is binding for both parties. The date of the promo video shoot can be changed at least 7 days in advance, the new date must be booked within 1 calendar month of the original date. The date of the wedding video can be cancelled 3 calendar months in advance in the low season (October to April) or 4 calendar months in the high season (May to September), due to the date of the wedding. In the event of cancellation within a shorter time frame, or failure to arrange an alternative date for the shooting of the promo video, the deposit will be forfeited to the videographer.
Prior to the actual shooting of the wedding video, I insist on a pre-wedding meeting, either in person if possible, or via video call. The meeting must take place at least 4 months before the wedding.
PRICE FOR FILMING
The final price of the video is based on the price list on the main page of the website and the additional requirements of the client. It is always agreed in advance. If the client requires the presence of a videographer at the wedding after the agreed time, by mutual consent the videographer will stay and charge an extra 1000 CZK per hour of filming.
A deposit of 50% of the total amount of the video is required upon confirmation of the shoot date. The remaining 50% is payable upon submission of the video + any transport costs.
The price for transport is given in CZK per kilometre. The total number of kilometres is calculated from the cameraman's place of residence to the filming location and back, and can be calculated using the mapy.cz application. The amount per km is determined by the current fuel prices and agreed with the client in advance.
Payment is possible both in cash and by bank transfer.
FILMING
The cameraman, or the client, will arrive at the shooting location at the pre-arranged time. The client's late arrival is not a reason to extend the shooting schedule. If the client is more than 30 minutes late, I reserve the right to cancel the shoot without refund.
In addition to the videos, I will take several portraits and photos of the newlyweds during the day so that a video cover photo can be chosen.
TRANSMISSION OF THE FINAL VIDEO
The cameraman selects the footage for the final video. He takes care of the appropriateness of the use not only from a technical point of view, but he also assesses the shots with a certain amount of empathy. I do not provide raw footage taken during filming to clients. If the client is interested, it is possible to send the footage for a fee, but it is necessary to make arrangements in advance, ideally at the wedding meeting.
The music accompanying the video is agreed upon at the wedding meeting, otherwise it is purely the choice of the videographer and cannot be changed afterwards. The first version of the video is sent to the client via a non-public YouTube link, after which the client has the option of one edit. An edit means the right to replace up to three shots that the client deems inappropriate for any reason. The videographer edits the video as requested and sends a second version of the video again via a non-public YouTube link. Upon approval, the client sends the balance, i.e. 50% of the total amount of the video + any shipping costs. The moment the amount is credited to the account, the videographer is obliged to send the client the video in full HD resolution via a suitable online service providing large file transfer, e.g. wetransfer.com or uschovna.cz.
THE DELIVERY TIME
The delivery time for the final wedding video is approximately 5 - 7 weeks from the shoot. This time frame may be extended or shortened due to illness or vacation.
ARCHIVING
For capacity reasons, I archive all footage for a maximum of one month after the final video is submitted. I archive the final video itself in full quality one year after submission.
COMPLAITNS
Dissatisfaction with the shooting style and the cinematographer's concept is not a reason for complaint or non-payment of the agreed amount. The possibility of exchanging some shots is possible at the time of handover, see Handover of the final video.
COPYRIGTHS
All footage is copyright and the property of the videographer and may not be used by the client for any commercial purpose, promotion or sale to a third party without the written consent of the photographer. The persons filmed/photographed may use the footage/photographs for their non-commercial personal presentation. According to the Copyright Act No. 121/2000 Coll., it is not allowed to modify the photos or video in any way (e.g. use of colour filters on instagram) and publish them as the author's work without the author's consent.
CONSENT TO PROVIDE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
I reserve the right to post photos and videos to my portfolio on social media, my website, or other promotional materials. If you do not wish your video or photos to be published, you must inform me in advance (after video delivery at the latest). Failure to do so will be taken as your consent.
